If you've always wanted to have authentic halal Japanese cuisine, you don't need to wait for your next trip to Japan for that! Hararu Izakaya - Singapore's first halal Izakaya restaurant has just opened right here in the heart of Bugis, Singapore?

Although Izakaya typically means a type of Japanese bar with alcoholic drinks, you can be rest assured that this Muslim-owned restaurant does not serve any alcohol☺️ Here, you can choose from 3 different seating types - normal tables, the bar or tatami seating upstairs!

Our team loves Japanese food so of course, we couldn't resist going there for lunch ? And it was worth it considering how their Donburi Set Lunch starts at SGD10 Nett! All set lunches come complete with hot green tea, Miso soup, salad and a main. That's pretty worth it, if you ask us?

We recommend their Unagi Don (grilled eel) and Gyuniku Don (beef) which were particularly flavorful? There are other mains you can choose from, such as the Salmon Teriyaki Don and Tori Karaage Don!

The food, atmosphere and service Hararu Izakaya offers make it one restaurant not to be missed! But be sure to make a reservation in advance to secure your seats?

P.S. They have a more extensive menu for dinner (more grilled items!). Look out for our video on Hararu Izakaya that is coming out soon?
