Great news for Malaysians! After more than half of 2021 being in lockdown, interstate and international travels are finally allowed for fully vaccinated people. Malaysians are free to travel for family visits or tourism! ?

General Guidelines & Govt's Advice on Interstate Travel

According to Health Minister, Datuk Khairy Jamaluddin, it is pertinent that everyone follows the SOPs, wear masks and practice social distancing. Based on his recent tweet after the announcement made by the Prime Minister, Malaysia is showing a gradual decline in the number of Covid-19 cases and we should practice MOH's TRIIS (Test, Report, Isolate, Inform, Seek) if we develop any symptoms.

As reported by CNA, the Prime Minister also highly encouraged people to do their Covid-19 test using test-self kits before and after travelling to different states. This is to ensure we could curb the spread of the virus as we transition into an endemic phase. You can purchase self-test kits at any of your nearby pharmacies.

If you are fit as a fiddle and already have some Covid-19 self-test kits as a precaution, then here are the top 5 destinations near KL for a relaxing getaway! ?
