Hunt For "Professional Hiders" To Win $10,000 Worth Of Points
Happening exclusively at IKEA Alexandra on 6 and 7 June 2026 (10AM to 10:45AM), the Hide & Seek competition will test your observation skills. Instead of hiding yourself under a MALM bedframe, you and a partner will act as the seekers!
Your mission? To find eight "professional hiders" who are expertly camouflaged within the furniture displays.
The faster you spot them, the higher your score. The ultimate winning team will walk away with a whopping 1,000,000 IKEA Family points (worth S$10,000) to offset their next home makeover!
Registration is free and open now through 31 May 2026 on the IKEA website. Slots are limited to 200 participants, and at least one player in your duo must be an IKEA Family member.
Join The Golden Ball Search Party For $1,000 Gift Cards & Free Food
Missed out on the main competition? Don't worry, because the hunt continues for everyone else! From 1 to 21 June 2026, shopper-detectives can join the In-Store Golden Ball Search Party happening across different outlets weekly:
- 1 – 7 June: IKEA Tampines
- 8 – 14 June: IKEA Alexandra
- 15 – 21 June: IKEA Jurong
There will be 70 golden balls hidden in safe, public areas around the showroom each week (with 10 released daily). No registration is required for this one!
If you manage to find a golden ball, you can unlock incredible mystery prizes ranging from $1,000 IKEA gift cards to delicious food vouchers like a 5-piece plate of curry puffs, chicken wings, or an oat vanilla ice cream at the Swedish Bistro!
(Note: While the IKEA Restaurant and Bistro sections are not halal-certified, Muslim shoppers can still enjoy hunting for the golden balls to score those awesome shopping gift cards!)
To make the June holidays sweeter, IKEA will also host themed weekend food parties (featuring hot dogs and ice cream customisation booths) and offer a special Mixed Ball Platter at the restaurant.
