Presint 1, 62000 Putrajaya, Malaysia
This should be the most iconic building in Putrajaya. It is located next to the Prime Minister's Office. The pink color and the fact that it stands on the water attract many tourists. It is beautiful no matter which angle you take photos from. I did not choose to go in, but just took photos from outside. It should be beautiful inside as well.
Beautiful mosque and absolutely stunning at night! The Putra Mosque is beautifully lit, casting a serene reflection over the lake and creating a breathtaking view. The architecture is impressive by day, but the night-time ambiance takes it to another level—peaceful, majestic, and truly picture-perfect. It’s a must-visit spot in Putrajaya, especially after sunset when the lights bring the mosque to life. A perfect place for a calm evening stroll and some memorable photos.
Putra Mosque is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit in Putrajaya. The pink dome and lake view make it very unique and perfect for photos. The architecture is stunning, and the area is clean and well-maintained. However, during busy times, it can get a bit crowded, and access to some areas may be limited for tourists. Still, it’s a must-visit spot if you're in Putrajaya. A calm and spiritual place with great views.
A beautiful mosque, a must see when in Malaysia. We wanted to see the sunset but unfortunately there was a lot of cloud but the trip was well worth it. We got there for around 6pm on Friday evening, 45 mins drive from KL. Sunset was at 7:20pm in Mid April. Before going into the mosque itself, we hired manual and eclectic bicycles, it was really cheap around 15 rinigts each. You can get single bikes or double seated bikes. We cycled for around 45 mins around the lake, beautiful and serene space. Locals were jogging and walking. We wanted to hire the private boats but it closed early due to weather change. There are plenty of places to eat and toilets available. Inside the mosque is beautiful ? calm and serene. The views from the mosque are also beautiful. When it's dark you can see the bridge colours change.
A beautiful and well maintained mosque that is in constant use by local residents and visitors. Good air conditioning and lovely gardens and grounds. It's a lot bigger than we had imagined it to be. It's definitely worth checking out! I really liked that there was a locally run market on the outskirts of the grounds, which added to its charm.
