Gereja Christ, Jalan Gereja, Banda Hilir, 75000 Malacca, Malaysia
This is a very nice town located 2 hours away from Kuala Lumper. It is on the UNESCO Heritage list. The town is small and you can walk around very easily. Nearly all sites here are free entry and do not charge. You can do this village on a day trip without rushing and enjoying your time. But leave early in morning and you have the whole day.
Nice old Church. Christmas decorations is ready during my visit on 07/12/2024. Free visit daily from 9am to 4pm. Sunday Church service at 8.30am(English) and 11am (Mandarin). Tourists are allowed to go in and stay at the back few row of seats during church service. Using the side door (Souvenir shop) to enter and exit. Go early in the morning to avoid the tourist crowd.
What a vibrant colour of the church. It was good view of the place. Though we don’t get time to visit inside, we saw everything from outside and the place was buzzing with tourists and local food across the streets. I am sure in evening times it would be more beautiful
A church dating back to the 19th century. When I visited, they had a performance and sang and cheered. Instantly positive and energetic. It quickly became full and I enjoyed the dynamic vibration that was created completely spontaneously.
It was so crowded and happening. The highlight was the street actor who was portraying a pontianak and running around shouting and chasing the crowds. Funny part was when snatched one of the guy’s phonr and started singing and shouting to it ??? What a scene ???
