1 Raffles Blvd, Singapore 039593
Great Exhibition Space in Town This space is in part of the Suntec City mall. It boasts some very large exhibition spaces on different floors despite it being inside a normal looking mall. It also has some smaller exhibition rooms for smaller events. This is a very convenient space to have an event. This mall has a huge car park and is accessible by 2 MRT stations. Being located in a mall means one has the convenience of all the amenities of the mall - thus, lots of choices for lunch and coffee. Definitely one of the better spaces for an event in town.
Been coming to Suntec City since I was a school kid literally decades ago. It is one of those malls (complete with convention centre) that has stood the test of time, and is thriving thanks to its adaptive abilities. Really accessible by public transport with MRT station Esplanade just beside. Lots of parking available too but just remember where you park your car. So many different eateries and shops, as well as a cinema. Kid-friendly too! Weill be back for sure very soon!
A big event space with many events happening every week. Attending the first day of the Singapore Garden Festival 2024 on 3rd Aug and is fascinated by the many beautiful floral displays and landscape designs. There was also exciting live competitions going on where children/youth compete on floral arrangement and floral designers from 16 different countries (including Singapore) compete with 6 tasks to obtain the grand winner title. The event also include a bustling marketplace selling exotic plants at reasonable prices as well as gardening and lifestyle products etc.
Wide variety of food choices and indoor playground and activities for the kids, very family oriented and can hangout here for a half a day, settled lunch and dinner before heading home with the family :)
I have visited the Suntec Convention Centre a couple of times now visiying as a speaker at conferences. It sure is a grand and well maintained place with ample of spacious conference halls and ameneties for talks, workshops and more. The only reason I give them a 4 is because the catered food is not great. The vegan option is very bland and tasteless. I was hoping my host gave lunch vouchers to eat outside but alas! My Indian palette could not handle the food, and I ended up going out to get a pizza instead. Overall this place is good though. They should keep some green tea options during tea breaks too, in case someone does not like coffee. The samosas they made for snacks were good.
