The mosque is rather small with muddy path and does not look welcoming. However the Wednesday's morning sisters circles are superb and that's why I give 5 stars. Hopefully the new mosque will be completed soon, even though it doesn't look like. This place deserves new mosque with better facilities. It's been long time since I went to a place where I felt welcomed. The sisters circle is very engaging and I enjoyed the workshop at the end. The room feels cosy and refreshment is provided. Shah Jalal mosque is very humble place. Don't judge book by its cover. I found more benefit once I stepped inside and I'm looking forward to come again.

Will be a beautiful mosque when it's completed. Should serve the community well for decades to come. Situated in a lovely park. Parking could be an issue if you're not local.

Spacious new masjid has open for Taraweeh and Jummah prayers, main hall capacity approx 500, with a further 120 capacity for woman on the first floor.

Absolutely beautiful mosque with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Stepney Shahjalal Mosque has been a cornerstone of the local community for years, and it shows in the way the staff and volunteers take care of the place and everyone who walks through the doors. The prayer hall is spacious and clean, and there's always a peaceful vibe when you enter. The khutbahs are delivered clearly and thoughtfully, and the imams always take time to connect with the congregation. They also provide excellent facilities for women, which many mosques unfortunately overlook. What I admire most is their dedication to the community—offering madrasah classes for children, events for the youth, and support services for families. Their redevelopment project is truly inspiring and shows their long-term commitment to serving future generations. May Allah reward everyone involved with this mosque. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a proper place to pray and feel spiritually uplifted.
