The most beautiful mosque in Beijing! Is a must visit during in Beijing! Open from 4am during Fajr prayer and closed at 10pm after isyak prayer! Does have friday prayer start at 1pm on friday. Very clean and hygenic toilet in town by the way. The muslim community here very kind and easy to find halal foods nearby! Explore here!! Is a must

Under major renovation until 2027. You can still visit to pray but the main hall is under scaffolding. Women's prayer is straight from the entrance, while men's is in the smaller old Chinese style building to the right from the entrance. Also a good drop of taxi place if you want to visit Halal supermarket across the junction.

Niujie Mosque is the oldest and largest mosque in Beijing, and a key symbol of Islam in China. It was established over 1,000 years ago during the Liao Dynasty. Several Chinese dynasties later helped restore and expand it. The mosque looks like a traditional Chinese temple from the outside — with curved roofs and red wooden pillars — but inside, it has clear Islamic features like Arabic calligraphy and the qibla (direction of prayer). Located in the Niujie (Ox Street) area, which is home to many Muslims (especially from the Hui ethnic group). You’ll also find halal restaurants, butchers, and Islamic schools nearby. The mosque is still used daily for prayers, including Friday prayers, and welcomes Muslim visitors from around the world.
