Jalan Pasir Pelangi, Pasir Pelangi, 80050 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
One of the most historical mosque. More than 100 years built in 1911. Still maintained it original design open air concept super cool inside out and welcome all visitors to conveniently perform solah in the mosque.
Basically, nice interior & classic architectural And mind you, this mosque got no aircond. Me wondering.... All the monument mosque in Johore (as I already visited), there’s no aircond. Really? This my second experienced here. My first time, during Ramadhan - the Imam recited super long surah - super hot inside. Probably, the heat can test your khusyuk-ness in solat and body conditioning.
Masjid of yesteryears at Pasir Pelangi, this was and still is the masjid frequented by the Johor Royals to perform daily prayers and the weekly Jumaat preyers. It is spacious indeed. However certain maintainence is needed, especially on the leaking roof and certain malfunction lights and fans. I believe the hardworking masjid committee will look into this
If you want to solat Jumaat / Friday prayer from Mid Valley Southkey Mall can go here. Best to take car or grab since it's dangerous to walk along highway from mall
Fridays are packed. Children running around while performing prayers. Not good..
