Alhamdulillah......such a nice modern mosque.....felt surge of affection and very serene......
A great mosque to pray ❤️ one of my favourites and the toilet was very clean!
Very nice architectural design. Clean mosque. The mosque's name, given by the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura is derived from the Arabic word, مودة, which literally means affectionate. The name was taken from the Quran Surah Ar-Rum verse 21: "And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell In tranquillity with them, and He has put love and Mercy between your (hearts): Verily In that are Signs for those who reflect." Aside from its numerous family friendly features for the young and the old, it also boasts a number of environmentally friendly features that are energy-conserving. The mosque was built under Phase 4 of the Mosque Building Fund program to cater to the large demographic of young families in the Buangkok and Sengkang area. The mosque is accessible from Buangkok MRT station.
Beautiful masjid. I always admire its sustainable design where the natural light beautifully flows without the need to artificially lit up. Moreover the gigantic ceiling fans and natural ventilation eliminates the need for airconditioning. When i was there during ramadhan the porridge was distributed after asar prayer to all attendees for take away for breaking fast.
