Definitely find out time wn animals are brought out and watch their performance. We say diago the seal... amazing. All the other animals also were looking healthy and well taken care of... place is well maintained . The BEST part was to be able to see animals and birds at such close distance walking freely and not caged ....omg... besttttt

Overall experience - ???? The Singapore Zoo offers a delightful and well-maintained experience, earning a solid 4-star rating. Sprawled across lush greenery, the zoo is home to a wide variety of animals in thoughtfully designed enclosures that mimic natural habitats. The best times to visit are either in the morning between 10 AM and 2 PM or in the evening from 4 PM to 7 PM. Afternoons can be quite warm, and many animals tend to retreat indoors during this period, making sightings less frequent. What stands out is the zoo’s excellent infrastructure. Cleanliness is maintained throughout, with public areas kept spotless. There are rest stops, drinking water stations, and washrooms conveniently located every 250 meters, which is very thoughtful for families and children. The staff is polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. On rainy days, an umbrella is essential as many sections of the zoo are outdoors. Despite the weather or heat, the immersive environment, engaging exhibits, and opportunities to learn about wildlife make this a must-visit destination in Singapore. With a little planning, visitors can enjoy a pleasant and memorable outing. A great spot for animal lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts alike.

I went for the night safari in the zoo. It was a fun experience! Most of the animals (except the leopard) were active and moving about, and some came quite close to the display window, and we could get a close up view of them. There were a couple of walk through experiences where we could walk into the enclosures with bats and civets. Overall a very safe, fun and new experience. I would recommend starting by 8pm. Walking around the trails itself takes 2.5 hours or so, and there’s a fun tram ride you can take too.

A great trail walk or simply ride on the trams. A lush greens along the way, seeing animals in their almost natural habitat. It is an awesome place to spend your time with family, especially those with small children. A lot of kids friendly zone at the kids world. You can also enjoy a variety of food after those long day spending with your family.

Visiting the Singapore Zoo is a truly captivating experience—it’s like stepping into a living wonderland where nature unfolds in the most breathtaking way. As you stroll through its beautifully designed habitats, you can’t help but marvel at the rare and nearly extinct species, each one thriving with love, care, and attention. It’s heartwarming to witness how deeply these creatures are nurtured. In the Wild Africa zone, the sight of majestic animals roaming in vibrant, open spaces sparks a sense of awe, while the enchanting Australia zone brings pure joy to children as they watch some of the healthiest, happiest animals in their element. And then there’s Reptolia—an unforgettable experience. The graceful power of the king cobra and the silent elegance of the sand python draw you in with a magnetic curiosity. Every corner of the zoo speaks to the magic of wildlife conservation and the joy of discovery—it’s not just a visit, it’s a sensory adventure that leaves a lasting impression.
