This is the last Masjid which is close to the road until Gelioya Thakya for People who are travelling towards Peradeniya side. They considered women as well, they have their separate praying area. Please park your vehicles in proper place. Otherwise, it would be difficult for pedestrians and other vehicles.

The mosque is a historical one, and it's located on the Kandy Gampola road in Kahatapitiya. The management of the mosque is very professional, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. One of the great things about this mosque is that it has a prayer room available for ladies, which is not always the case in some other mosques. The ladies' prayer room is spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities like restroom facilities. This makes it a convenient and comfortable place for women to pray. Another highlight of the mosque is its washroom facilities. They are clean and well-maintained, making it easy for visitors to perform their ablutions before prayers.

Beautiful mosque, ladies prayer portion is also available. On Friday’s you will find it hard to get a parking spot as the mosques is located opposite the main road and there is no proper parking space rather the mosque wedding hall parking space.

Lovely masjid, well maintained and received a very warm welcome from the imams, would definitely return in the future. Great to see quran classes being run when we visited.
