66-68 Jeffcott St, West Melbourne VIC 3003, Australia
The mosque is spacious and has a peaceful and calming atmosphere. It is also very clean, and the wudu facilities are spread across three floors. The mosque is conveniently located close to the public transport and Flagstaff station. Overall, I feel at home when I attend this mosque, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to pray in the city.
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) mosque located in Melbourne CBD for a Friday Prayer, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience.Despite its relatively small size, the ICV mosque is incredibly well-organized. The cleanliness and maintenance of the mosque are impeccable, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere for worshippers. The prayer facilities are comprehensive, with everything neatly arranged and well taken care of.During my visit, I observed the smooth organization of the Friday Prayer sessions. They conduct the prayer in three batches at 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm. The transition between these sessions was seamless, and the timing was managed perfectly. Kudos to the brothers who ensured such efficient operations.Another aspect that stood out to me was the way they handled donations. The mosque has several machines that allow for donations through paywave (also known as tap n pay). These machines have preset values like A$10, A$20, and A$50, making the donation process very efficient and convenient.Overall, ICV mosque provides a wonderful place for worship with excellent facilities and management. Kudos to all the brothers and sisters who take care of this place. Your efforts are truly commendable!
ICV (Islamic Center of Victoria) Review ICV is a wonderful place for Jummah prayers, offering three prayer times at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. It's a welcoming and humble environment, perfect for Friday prayers. Prayer Times: The 3 prayer times provide flexibility and convenience for attendees, ensuring everyone can participate in the Jummah (Friday) prayer regardless of their schedule. 12.30, 1.30, 2.30 (april-sept) Suggestions for Improvement: One suggestion for the management is to avoid blocking the pathways near the door and stairs with promotional materials and fundraising items. Keeping these areas clear will ensure smooth movement and accessibility for everyone. Having the donation machine handy and easily accessible would still encourage contributions without obstructing the pathways. Overall Experience: ICV is a great place for Friday prayers with a respectful and spiritual atmosphere. With a bit of reorganization to improve accessibility, it would enhance the overall experience for everyone attending.
Great location for those working in Melbourne CBD! ICV Mosque offers three Jummah prayer times, plenty of space for prayer, and well-maintained Wudu facilities.
This mosque is very strategic: located in Melbourne CBD and close to Southern Cross Station. The prayer hall is quite spacious, the ablution area is clean, but toilet towels need to be ensured that they are always available. Parking vehicles may be a problem during Jummah prayer times.
