This shopping center 5 years ago was slowly losing its appeal.
I believe now its starting to hum into action as new retail stores have made this place there home.
Number one shoes has moved.
My favourite stores are the sports outlets
With the great specials they have on.
Weekends are the busiest days.
Lots of parking spaces ? toilets but 50cent coin to use it.

There is plenty of free parking. Easy to find a spot. Close to the shops. bit busy on weekends.

Love shopping here, so many bargains that are price really good, you can buy good quality clothes for a fraction of the original place always

Received a $50 parking fine for accidentally parking in what I thought was a normal (free) parking spot near Woolworths/ the chemist
The signage that said this area was paid parking was quite far from the parking spot, hanging on a perimeter fence and was white writing on a black background. It was on the perimeter fence that was backed by trees etc making it blend in. This did not stand out at all and I did not see it.

Right out in front of the parking area is a large and brightly coloured Woolworths parking sign with an arrow. This was easy to see and I thought it was letting me know there was additional parking in that direction.
I would not have parked there if I had known I needed to pay as there were multiple free parking spots available at that time. I was very upset to come back from my grocery shop (30mins) to a $50 dollar instant fine.

Please learn from my misfortune and check your surroundings for paid parking signs. They seem to be deliberately difficult to spot.
As a result I won’t shop in this area again and will warn others about this misleading parking scam too.

I'm in the vicinty of Westgate most days. It has a good selection of shops, many outlets with good bargains to be had.
Two areas of discontent.
The management keeps taking away parking.  At certain times of the day, it's impossible to get a park near where you want to shop. Example outside the AA . There's now yet more parks being removed for retail space.  What's the use of more shops if you can't get near them?
My second complaint is outside space for sitting/eating.  There are many worker's who want to leave the office/shop and enjoy an outside space to eat their lunch .
I think a bit more planning in making Westgate a more user-friendly space is needed.
