Alternatif place/shop to see and buy some batik or things all about Indonesian here.

They offer best local product and have finest quality. Their quality is the same as branded quality. To my surprise, everytime I visit here, it seems very few people browsing around and go shopping in UKM Gallery. I wonder why? Perhaps lack of branding and promotion, lack of offering special bonus or big discounts? Or the place is difficult to reach due to high traffic jam nearby? It is sad though to see such great products but not many people eager to buy from UKM Gallery. Compare to people seem prefer buying branded imported goods.

This place is kind of an exhibition of Indonesian Traditional Crafts. The Price is quite affordable, and you'll find many arts and crafts from various places in Indonesia. If you're an expat or you're a tourist, or you have a foreigner friends I think it's a good place to go to buy some Indonesian crafts.. They open every day, but I'm not sure about what time they open and close...
