Musk Ave &, Carraway St, Kelvin Grove QLD 4059, Australia
Few days ago, I had inspection at the village centre Kelvin Grove. I found that a beautiful place and the apartments are spacious, clean and are the centre of market and near QUT
A very solid little local shopping centre with enough amenity for the locals living within the area to meet their needs. Lots of great little restaurants and it's great to have a bar like The Menagerie in the area as it helps make the space quite complete as a little strip for locals. The Woolworths is not quite a full sized premise so doesn't have the full range
Appreciate the cleaner of The Village Shopping Centre (an old man), he’s keeping this place as clean as possible, and even disinfects bins. He deserves a raise. I see him all the time and he is really hardworking.
Woolworth Metro, and other shops for Alcohol, food, Asian Grocery shop, and 10 dollars shop. Love this place.
Visited on a weekend with the family—husband, daughter, and me. The Village is practical but not exciting. Pros: ample parking (free, which is rare these days), clean facilities, and a decent Coles/Woolies for groceries. The play area is small but kept our toddler entertained for a bit. Downsides? The fashion stores are pretty basic, and the food court is lacking. We ended up eating at a café nearby instead. Also, some parts felt a bit run-down—peeling paint, flickering lights. Staff were friendly, though, and it wasn’t overly crowded, which was nice. If you need a no-frills place to grab essentials or kill an hour with kids, it’s alright. But don’t expect a premium shopping experience.
