Royal Exchange, London EC3V 3LL, United Kingdom
Beautiful old building with an atrium with a restaurant. There is a Fortnum & Mason store which we had fun browsing in (and buying some tea and biscuits). All the stores here are quite exclusive. But it is worth looking in to see how nice it all looks.
A very nice building next to the Bank of England, has years of history. Inside are a collection of luxury and Fortnum & Mason Champagne bar in the centre. They have a store inside for other items on sale. Nice to place to look around but very expensive.
The Royal Exchange is a stunning historic building in the heart of London, blending elegance with a vibrant atmosphere. Originally a trading hub, it’s now home to luxury boutiques, high-end dining, and stylish bars. The architecture is breathtaking, with grand columns and a beautiful central courtyard that makes for a perfect spot to relax.
The Royal Exchange is beautiful to walk through, and a great spot for a drink. But what I really love about it is the history and the story behind it. Definitely worth a walk through and read up on it before going, makes it way more interesting!
It was mostly closed during the weekend which is a shame but still interesting to walk through to appreciate the design. There are multiple new modern features added to the original historical style, some match it perfectly while others distract from it
