Absolute waste of time and nothing special in terms of shopping. Rows of shops with very repetitive fashion/accessories, and many empty units that closed down.

Most shops do not clearly indicate a price tag, so shop at your own risk of getting scammed. Those with a price tags aren’t exactly worth the bang of your buck. Most of the shops have sales items which range from 15,000-17,000 won but the fabric is so sheer and the workmanship is horrible with loose threads everywhere. Accessories aren’t exactly cheap either, a simple black ring could cost you up till 25,000 which is insanely steep.

Plus the attitude of the sales people are just horrendous, especially this girl from the first shop the moment you step out of the subway. The sales item I saw from the shop was priced 15,000 on the rack. I took it and went to the changing room to try on and decided to get it. Then when she rang up my item, the register showed 17,000 which was not written on the rack, I pointed to the rack saying it was 15,000 she smacked my hand away and said 15,000 for cash. I said sure I don’t mind paying cash and she just angrily grunted some words in Korean which I didn’t understand. Presumably scolding me under her breath. I told her off saying that she was rude and walked away and I could hear her angrily grunting behind me.

Horrible service, non-transparent pricing, nothing special or out of the ordinary worth mentioning or browsing. Definitely won’t recommend this even to my worse enemies.

The Seomyeon underground shopping mall is a sprawling complex of stalls. There are decent prices down here but it is very repetitive with many shops selling shoes, sweats, underwear or piercings. If you're in the area and looking for a place to escape the weather this is the place to do so. It was also convenient to go through below street level near the Seomyeon Station area to cross the street or go up a bit.

Better than express bus terminal and got to mall. Little shops of expressive fashion. Very long stretch. Not repetitive. Can slowly walk.

There are many delicious restaurants nearby, as well as a very convenient metro system. No matter where you want to go, you can start your journey from here. You don’t have to worry about going hungry at night either.

There are only signages when you are near the underground mall. This underground mall is huge and links to most malls above. It also links to Lotte Department Store and Seomyeon Station.
Their prices are generally cheaper than malls, some are hard to haggle, designs are mostly the same. Worth visiting for clothes/fashion.
