Lot B-02, Mahkota Parade, 1, Jln Merdeka, Taman Costa Mahkota, 75000 Melaka, Malaysia
Reasonably good mall with a big supermarket at the basement, cinema on the 3rd floor, and all the usually eateries, retailers in between. Parkson is the anchor departmental store. Recommended!
This shopping mall is one of the most “shop-able” aircon mall nearer to Genting Cruise center @ ICQ. Most shopping malls here in Melaka is quite empty or less stores which may end up shopping malls will save aircon and not enough aircon in the mall. But this shopping mall is like Singapore shopping mall, quite nice to shop and price is good to shop for some store. Hotels around are cheaper but mostly stay by their Malaysia local Malays thus have Malay style and food mostly cater to Malay culture. Very rich Melaka culture here. So big brands stays in this mall, the stores turnover is very low. 10 years ago I’m here, most stores still stays. Unlike Singapore, stores turnover is too fast due to expensive shopping malls or commerical rental. Rental does kill creative businessess. I hope Malaysia can stay affordable for their people. I like Cruise because drop off at a country to view the culture and not live on land is quite a “quick visit” trip and meals can be settled on cruise. Ok la… don’t expect too much. Mahkota Parade is a prominent shopping mall in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia. It officially opened on January 30, 1994, and underwent a major refurbishment before being relaunched on May 1, 2010. Address: Lot B-02, Mahkota Parade, 1, Jalan Merdeka, Taman Costa Mahkota, 75000 Melaka Phone: 06-282 6151 Floors: 4 During my stay, I visited The Handy Mall, which turned out to be a vibrant and bustling place. It featured a wide range of shops catering to most needs and a food court offering a selection of similar local dishes. One hidden gem was the Family Store supermarket in the basement. It was a bit tricky to find — access is via an escalator inside the Park's On Store.
It's one of the new Malls here. Located not too far from the main attractions like Jonker Street.
Mahkota Parade is one of Melaka’s most iconic shopping destinations, and it never disappoints! Conveniently located in the city center, it offers a great mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment under one roof. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this mall has something for everyone. The variety of stores is impressive — from well-known fashion brands to specialty shops and local boutiques. It’s a great place to shop for clothes, gadgets, gifts, or even just to window-shop in a comfortable, air-conditioned space. The dining options are also fantastic, ranging from popular fast food to cozy cafés and restaurants serving local and international cuisines. The food court is clean, spacious, and ideal for families. What really makes Mahkota Parade stand out is its family-friendly environment. The cinema, arcades, and occasional live events or exhibitions make it a fun and lively spot, especially during weekends and holidays. Plus, the mall is well-maintained, with clean facilities and helpful staff. Overall, Mahkota Parade remains a top choice for a complete shopping and leisure experience in Melaka. Highly recommended for a relaxing day out!
