Houses of Parliament are quite interesting. The audio tour is really interesting and detailed enough to get a nice overview of the parliament and other specific details. The tour won't take long, it's somewhere around 1-2 hours and the Houses of Parliament are located near a lot of other iconic London places so add it to the list! I would recommend buying the tickets online so you will avoid queues and maybe planning the visit in the morning as it won't be too crowded. I visited on a saturday at 9:40 and it was well enough to actually enjoy the place, take some pictures (in the places where that was allowed) and have a look at the different things around without being full of tourists.
It was built with utmost precision and skills. Very intricate and fine work which is designed with great taste.
This is a must make stop. If you have any interest politics you will find things in here you can’t live without. I’m partial to writing books and pens so there you have it. The staff was very polite and helpful. We found everything we were looking for and more. We would definitely go back. Maybe not this trip but definitely when we return. If you haven’t been, go! You will not regret it!
Great experience, so much History!!
I went to the shop a few weeks ago and ran out of time to grab the stunning looking "Old Vodka" bottle. Luckily they sell it online so I ordered and it arrived yesterday. It was a sunny evening so we thought we give it a taste. Well, my goodness what a taste. Smooth as silk, hands down the best Vodka I've tasted in many years. Well done to the HoP Shop for finding this gem of and thanks to "Old Vodka" for making it. After a bit of searching online Old Vodka also makes some interesting flavoured vodkas as well. So cheers from me to a summer journey of vodka flavours :-)
