This is a great place to go to if you're looking for vinyl/LPs. the shop owners speak some English so it's easy to find your way around. Prices range from US$30 to $150 up, depending on what you're looking for. Highly recommended, especially if your other half is shopping for stuff that doesn't interest you.

This underground shopping arcade has the largest concentration of stamp, coin and paper money dealers in Seoul. You can get here via Exit 1 near the Central Post Office, or through the link way from Shinshaegae department store. Come in the afternoon when most dealers are likely to be open. Have an idea of how much you want to pay and try to stick to that. Most dealers are friendly and the shop opposite CS Stamp KR was willing to give a discount (KRW 30,000 for a 1975 5000 won note when other dealers were asking for KRW 50,000 and KRW 30,000 for a 1983 10,000 KRW note). Don't worry even if you don't speak Korean, you'll manage to get by with a calculator, Google Translate, pictures of the items you want and smiles all round. If you want to purchase stamps at face value, head to Counter 10 of the Seoul Central Post Office in the basement and ask for "special stamps"

They have a great selection of vinyls and cds, both brand new and second hand. Their selection includes Korean, Japanese and Western artists and prices are reasonable. Most vinyls are Japanese pressing too which are of great quality. 100% would recommend! I got Astrud Gilberto, Tempations, a Jazz compilation, Now Kpop and Hometown Chachacha OST ?
