The mall felt a bit disorganized in terms of shop placement, which could be improved. Comparatively less crowded, making it a comfortable shopping experience. A variety of shops are available, catering to diverse needs, and a few even offer playtime options. Overall, a pleasant place to visit with room for better organization.

Havelock City is undoubtedly one of Colombo’s most iconic and ambitious mixed-development projects — and after experiencing it thoroughly, I can confidently say it offers a premium urban living and lifestyle experience that’s hard to match in Sri Lanka. Location: Situated in the heart of Colombo 5, Havelock City enjoys a prime, strategic location with easy access to key areas like Colombo 4 (Bambalapitiya), Colombo 3 (Kollupitiya), and Colombo 7 (Cinnamon Gardens). Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to leading schools, or visiting hospitals and malls, everything is within a 10–15 minute drive depending on traffic. Architecture & Design: The architectural design of both the residential and commercial areas stands out. The apartment towers are sleek, modern, and thoughtfully designed to maximize views, ventilation, and privacy. The glass exteriors, wide balconies, and tasteful landscaping give it a polished international feel — much like the luxury residences you find in Dubai or Singapore. The shopping mall, one of the newest additions to the project, is absolutely massive for Colombo standards. Security is top-notch: 24/7 guarded entrances, keycard access to elevators, and friendly but firm security staff.

I visited on a tuesday evening to watch a movie. The entrance area is huge and staffed very well to avoid vehicle build up. There is a security scan check at the entrance, but they don't seem to worry about the security much. The cinema and food court is at the 4th level. most of the major fast food chains are available. The cinema is good as well. Overall the atmosphere is great inside.

I especially enjoyed the unique flavors at Colombo Steak House-perfect for steak lovers seeking something different. The mall is family- friendly, with a kids' play area, gaming, and the impressive Scope Cinemas Multiplex for movie fans. Some outlets could use better signage, but overall, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. Highly recommended for a day out with family and friends
