Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50050 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
It's a nice heritage market place to visit when you are in KL, you can find many of souvenirs and art craft shop as well as varies of nice Malaysian Food menu here. It's clean and nice place. However, you should prepare coin when you want to use the rest room, it is an paid toilet available inside the building.
Nicely planned attractive place. I would say it is a tourist only place as I never saw a local buying something from the central market. Some shops offer fair prices but some are over priced. What else to expect in a tourist market ? You can buy a variety of things from this place including clothes, customized gifts, small souvenirs and they have a dedicated area for local arts which I suggest you should try. Overall, it is a place which should be on your bucket list.
Open daily from 10.00 to 22.00, the newly renovated building houses a variety of shops for local fare and local food. A must see by both the foreign visitor and locals. The videos are of the scaled down version of the B.I.G. enterprise. Parking is limited, but reasonable in price especially if you're a big shopper!
Nice place for casual family outings. The historical place is full of art and craft. There is also an area where the history of this iconic market advertised. Plenty of eatenery shops available. Access is easy by train and public transport.
The look and feel have been maintained to give it a retro feel though it houses modern shops. Fully Air-conditioned market and also very clean. Variety of shops including cosmetics, art, souvenirs.
