? Capitol Singapore is a heritage building that has been refurbished into a shopping mall with a drama theatre. ? People used to go there to watch movies at Capitol Cinema. ( I am talking about 1950s till 1990s. It is a popular shopping mall.in the heart of the city. ? I come here at times to the cafes & restaurant. ✅️ It is a majestic building now renovated and converted into a spanking new mall.

I truly felt the Christmas spirit come alive while I was at Capitol this evening. The festive decorations, the twinkling lights, and the joyful atmosphere filled me with warmth and cheer. It was such a magical experience, reminding me of the joy and togetherness that Christmas brings.

The streets are clean. The church lights up beautifully at night, making evening walks very enjoyable. However, the area is a bit quiet and feels somewhat deserted.

Finally came back to try their mains! We opt for the 3course meal (58++) and it was really worthy! Beef tendeeloin was well cooked while the lamb is alittle gamey for me. Dessert was superb as usual and the seevice staff were very nice too! High recommend to come here for a date night ?

IMO this is a modern mall centred around the old Capitol Theatre - a cinema that I have frequented when I was young until my thirties. It is nice to see the old cinema intact from some view points. As a mall, it mostly comprised eateries with very few retail - and only couple of eateries have stood the test of time. As I was there this Sunday morning by car, I found it challenging heading towards the mall's carpark as there was almost a nonstop stream of pedestrians using the zebra crossing enroute to the mall's carpark. I don't know if there's something that can be done about this to alleviate the very long wait time faced by car parkers not just heading into the mall's carpark but also leaving the same. Otherwise, it is a pleasant mall to visit - with almost none of the usual suspects found in other malls in Singapore.
