I love the products from Cambodia Knits. I use them in many settings: Making Music Classes, Wednesday Rhyme Time at Monument Books, Socks & Songs at Funderland, and Mini Music Classes. The owls fly on trampolines, we eat our vegetables, we visit with the animals when Teacher Jessica has a zoo, Bongo goes up and down on the bus, the magnetic monkeys hang out in my hair for #ColorOfTheWeek, the monster/alien will be featured soon as the #ItemOfTheWeek... plus I am working on songs for the lady bugs—and other cool stuff I find here. I love the quality and I love that my purchases support ethical and rewarding employment for women and families in Cambodia.
I drove passed this tiny shop called "Cambodia Knits" in the Toul Tompoung area and stopped to see their products. They have some nice hand made toys and sheets that are knitted by local Cambodians. I bought a few toys for my kids and they love it. The sheets feels great for in the car as well.
Absolutely love this shop with its gorgeous hand-made knitted toys. Double satisfaction factor knowing everything is made by local women from marginalised communities. These products are perfect as gifts or souvenirs - my personal favourite is the Apsara doll where you even get to choose her skirt colour! Highly recommended.
Cambodia Knits products have always been a staple gift, to people little AND big. Friends have remarked about how durable the knit toys are, surviving both toddlers and pets! Also, I love how much the business gives back to communities in need as a social enterprise. Definitely support these guys whether online or IRL at the store if you're in PP!
These are hands down the best gifts to get for kids, or the young at heart in your life, during your travels. All their products are super high quality, and they've been supporting women in the community for over a decade. Can't recommend them enough.
