This is the shop I had been searching for in my 4-week visit to Vietnam. All unique and high-quality goods, unlike many of the vendors/shops in the Old Quarter — and for reasonable prices. My husband and I did the Ha Giang Loop in the north last week, which introduced us to some of the lovely and diverse ethnic minority groups that live in the Ha Giang province — and also to the beautiful textiles that are unique to that area. But unfortunately we didn’t have enough space in our bag to purchase any textiles while we were in the north. But luckily we stumbled upon An Handmade shop the day we came back to Hanoi! The shop carries only one-of-a-kind textiles and crafts that are all handmade by communities in the north of Vietnam. And some of the proceeds go toward supporting these communities. We bought several items here, including lots of great gifts for family and friends. And to top it off, the shop owner told us about the origins of the items we bought, and gave us her card in case we have questions about any of the items later on. We are so glad to have found this shop!

Definitely stop by if you’re looking for a unique souvenir or a special something for yourself!

Such a cute store with so many handmade goodies!! We were told that everything is made in a small province in the north from one of the three ethnic groups in Vietnam, so each item is unique! We loved the concept and ended up purchasing the cutest and durable tote bags with a zipper enclosure. 10/10 would recommend visiting here if you’re looking for some unique souvenirs :)

A really nice little shop with many beautiful handcrafted items made my local women. The seller, Nhi was very helpful and friendly. A must to visit if you’re in Hanoi and looking for authentic souvenirs!
