AMORE is my favorite place to shop for beauty products—it’s everything a cosmetics store should be. Whoever designed this space truly understands the shopper’s experience.

I easily spent hours here. I came twice during my stay in Seoul. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a cleansing area for your hands and face, setting the perfect tone for testing products comfortably. Sinks are thoughtfully placed throughout the store, making it easy to wash your hands and try even more.

One of the highlights is the customization stations, where you can create personalized makeup products. I highly recommend booking the custom foundation and lip color matching services well in advance—they’re worth it!

The pricing is reasonable, and the store offers great perks like free samples and discount codes. Whether you're a beauty enthusiast or just looking for a unique shopping experience, this place is a must-visit.

I did the Laneige Bespoke Lip Mask with Wonjin and it was very fun! If you only speak English, they can speak English very well there. They let you test and make sure you pick the two flavors you want in case you change your mind.

Literally my only and first bad experience in korea. A waste of time.

No matter how good a product is, the service plays a huge role and shapes the whole experience.

Went there without a foundation session booking and they told me that it is ok as turns out there are self-service color matching machines, but you literally have to figure everything out urself or keep trying to find employees to ask for help, was the first to come but due to having to keep asking around about what to do some other new costumers came and stopped at the machine which is fine.
The costumers took a long time and more people started arriving and waiting because no one literally has an idea of what to do, an employee later on noticed and finished the costumer match and printed the paper quickly then literally put the “on break” sign lol??, then after trying out the foundations myself i asked another employee that finally stood beside the foundations stand and said that it’ll be ready for collection after the break at 5pm ( it was 4:30 pm) after 10 minutes i came again and stood beside that same employee again and she was with the first costumer and was speaking to her and suddenly she told her “ok come you’ll be the last costumer” and took her to the side lol! I immediately told her that i wanted to buy the foundation and leave and she literally came back with a paper and said it’ll be ready for collection in 1 hour!
What type of service or experience was that? Mind you the quality of the foundations itself wasn’t that good either, there are way better quality foundations out there.

The place and architecture itself is beautiful, however, some employees attitude and the overall experience is definitely not worth it. Sad it wasted so much of my time over nothing. Don’t recommend

The most underated store,  it is such a hidden gem! Firstly, you can test and try all products on display. They also have some great services and experiences that I highly recommend. I have booked the Hera colour match foundation service twice and I had a great experience both times ( I had to redo the colour match as my skin tone changed). Starting from the end of OCT they will now offer the Hera lip gloss colour match service. You can also obtain a free skin analysis through completing a questionnaire and AI scan. After obtaining the results from the scan, they recommend products suited to you and  also you have the option to purchase a custom essence customised to your skin, this service does not require a booking. Every month they have different samples as a gift with purchase and depending on the level of your spend, there could be more samples. They also have different pop ups of instore events that change monthly.
