best restaurant for vegan
Very healthy vegetarian meal in very reasonable price! Nice soup... We buy one set of meal , two persons can eat because the vegetables is a lot. The rice and soup is refillable.
Honest food
very small little veggie eatery in a hidden side street. the lady running it is very kind and generous. there is only one choice and that consist of: small soup, rice bowl, and a large dish of steamed veggies (like pak choi, broccoli and carrots) with soft tofu on top. the size is proper for one hungry person, and everything can be topped up. very affordable and superhealthy. i liked the veggies with tofu, there is no olive oil or any seasoning to make it a little more tastier. the lady offers some smashed ginger to spice it up. rice and soup are very good too. price for this menu is only 35 MOP$. the place has about 6 tables, and the decoration is basic chinese. i would definitely recommend it for a healthy natural meal at affordable price, altough i would suggest providing some olive oil or spices for european/western tourists, to upgrade the steamed veggies. maybe as a suggestion offer some green tea, or a dessert pastry too, and make it 50 MOP$? sunday closed, weekdays closing at 7.30pm thanks a lot
Yes, only one dish. They serve you a plate with different kind of vegetables plus mushrooms, tofu and some potatoes. You can also take a small bowl and serve yourself some rice, soup or noodles. Only one bowl at a time. Not wasting food is important. Still, they make sure you are full by the end of your meal. The lady in charge didn't have change in HK dollars so I got Macao's instead. It's just something to keep in mind as a tourist. Overall, a family restaurant with strong ethics, authentic atmosphere and healthy food. Loved it.
