Found this restaurant in Melaka Raya area, just opposite Lee Swee Meng Restaurant (prev post) - and we popped by to try it the next day. The dishes are very classic and homely. We had the beggars chicken - which was amazing! Fresh herbal flavors, with tender chicken and refreshing nourishing broth. Amazing! Pork belly with preserved vegetables - another old school dish that tasted amazing! So tender and flavorful. Fish stew with yam. Lots of vege, great snapper fillets, fresh and appetizing soup. Really lovely! Great for sharing and chatting over this hot pot. Tofu was also tasty. We had marmite chicken strips and koloyok (sweet sour pork) - both were also really really tasty! ✨Overall Score: 9/10 ✨ ********************************* Can Eat One Mehhh??? Yes! Before it gets popular due to its tasty food. ?? I really enjoyed the beggars chicken and fish stew! Order those first!

A homely food place open till 3pm Food was good!! Recommend to have French beans with salted egg or dried prawns and must have Taufu radish !! And yam broth fish! Food was really good and price was very reasonable! The person running the shops was also nice to let us come in at 2:30 pm and cook - and let us enjoy the meal even after 3pm We had curry fish and few more dishes

First time came here and the food taste is good. Lady boss good service, intro and explain about the dishes. The place located bit inside but no worry, waze able to bring you there. Recommended.

Usual chinese air-conditioning restaurant. Fast service. Love the food.....very fresh. Not too salty. Suit me. Yes I will be back. Price very reasonable......
