24-1 Gwandeok-ro 8-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea
This hidden gem on Jeju Island is serving up Yemeni comfort food. The dishes are flavorful and hearty, appealing to all those who like middle eastern and south Asian spices. Be prepared to wait for your order as everything is made fresh. It’s worth the wait. Recommend the Arab Tea, Falafel, and chicken adgah.
Came here for dinner with my partner and we both agree this is one of the best meals we have had in our 2 weeks in Korea! The food was authentic, packed with fantastic flavours and very nourishing and wholesome. 10/10 would recommend this gorgeous hidden gem. Great meat and vegetarian options available on the menu !
The food is amazingly tasty and well seasoned. I'm a vegetarian and the veggie version of Agdah with the grilled mushrooms was so well cooked that I had the come back the next day to try again. My partner's experience was that the meat was very nicely cooked as well, tender and full of flavor. The small salads and the soup as a side dishes and starter were very fresh too. Besides the food, the owners are heartwarming, we felt welcomed in their small world right away. It's a very special place, just humble and simple. Felt in love, I wish there were more restaurants like this one everywhere.
My favorite restaurant at Jeju, I highly recommend it ? !! It was so good (like home cooking) and the portions were so generous !! The service was perfect ? (and the cherry on the top IT'S HALAL ?)
The food at Warda brings back memories of homemade meals from back home in Africa. The service is excellent, and the owners are truly lovely people. The atmosphere is cozy and full of character. Definitely give it a try if you visit Jeju! A tip for Muslims: they offer very good halal food.
