I had a really nice meal here that was really authentic paired with some Vietnamese beers. The staff were really nice and made we feel welcomed. As I was eating a drunk man had come in, not causing any issues but was visibly drunk. I think potentially one of the owners/chefs dealt with him really nicely and also looked after the situation instead of the younger members of staff having to deal with him and thought it was very professional. The food was ready really quickly and tasted amazing. The decor made me feel like I was back in vietnam (which I’m missing) so this was really nice. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Honestly one of the best meals I had my entire two week stay in surfers paradise. I accidentally came at closing time but they were so kind and offered to make the food anyways. I had the Bahn Xeo and Pork Shu Mai! Everything was perfect!! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.

Vietnam Oi is a lovely Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a good variety of classic Vietnamese dishes, and most of what we tried was fresh and well-prepared. As a Vietnamese person, I’m quite picky when it comes to pho. I ordered the beef pho here — it was decent, but the broth felt a bit light and didn’t have the depth of flavor I usually expect. It’s still enjoyable, just not outstanding in my opinion. On the other hand, the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and the fresh spring rolls were excellent — fresh, tasty, and full of authentic flavor. Portion sizes were generous, prices were fair, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The location is also convenient, perfect for a casual meal while exploring Surfers Paradise. Even though the pho didn’t meet my expectations, I’d still return to try more dishes. Overall, Vietnam Oi is a solid spot for Vietnamese food, especially if you're looking for something comforting, fresh, and convenient.

The food is amazing and the staff are the best. The chicken wings starters are devine and the pho is the best I have ever tasted.
