is hands down one of the best spots for plant-based comfort food! I’m not even vegan, but every now and then, I crave a good vegan chopped cheese, and their Impossible Chopped Cheese Melt did not disappoint. It was magically delicious—perfectly seasoned, melty, and satisfying. I customized mine with jalapeños and pico de gallo instead of tomatoes, and OMG, it took the flavors to the next level. Whether you’re vegan or just looking for a bomb meal, this spot is a must-try!

This is the second time I come to this vegan restaurant and I am in love with the food and the quality of service. Im always welcomed with nothing but smiles at the cash register. My boyfriend and I ordered chicken over rice and the food came in less than 10 minutes! The food was hot and I couldn’t believe that it is not real chicken. The young boy that took care of us named Omar was so pleasant and attentive I will be coming back!

Stopped in last night after attending the Mayoral Forum at Cooper Union, needing something quick and good. Was VERY pleased. Granted I could have chosen something lighter or “healthier” but I wanted comfort food and did not want to spend a lot of time before getting home. Had a delicious cheesesteak sandwich (not a wrap) that was well prepared and the large portion of tater tots - I was surprised there were so many - were cooked to perfection. Friend and I sat outside at one of the two small tables, and expected to go back inside to get our food once done, but the staff actually brought it out for us! My friend had the crispy chickn sandwich and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. I give 3 stars for atmosphere only because it’s a tiny hole in the wall and the tables at the front entrance were on some fake astroturfing that was a nuisance and kept tripping me (and others). Otherwise I would definitely go back for the quick, good service and try more of the menu options!

Absolutely loved Vegan Grill! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every bite. But what truly made the experience stand out was the service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. And the atmosphere? Perfect. Relaxed, clean, and full of good energy. Whether you’re vegan or just love good food, Vegan Grill is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!
