Pros: Perfect location. Surrounded by offices. The vegetarian food is tasty. Had a taste of Indian & Burmese food after long. Staffs are cordial & agile. Set up is warm and cozy. Price all good. Grab a bite and a beer from the other corner. Quantity us also generous.. will come back again.New kid on the block !! Cons : Nothing

Tried the recently open Uma Curry & Roti for the first time last week. They serving weekly Burmese curries with rice and/or roti with daily specials, salad of the day. Uma is a curry house from Parliament of King in Newtown. I got the two curries with roti & rice options for $12.5. Order the Chicken and Capsicum curry that is Halal & Gluten free and an egg curry. Reasonable portion size with nice fragrance curries that is not too heavy and aromatic served on basmatic rice and roti. The staff Sue and Nathalie are all very friendly and welcoming to customers too. Would be back again for more curries feed.

Such delicious food! I had 2 curries (1 chicken, 1 pumpkin) with rice and the softest, crispiest roti I've ever tasted. Was around $14 and very filling. Highly recommend.

The curry is tasty and it pairs particularly well with chicken, flavorful and soft yet tender. The purple pickle is surprisingly nice and refreshing. The owner is nice, adding a personal touch to the experience. The eco friendly packaging is also a plus.
