One of the hidden gems on the east coast of Jeju, Tomtom Curry is a delightful vegetarian curry spot that's also halal-friendly! We had the spinach curry, vindaloo curry with baked cheese, and the half-half curry (vegetable and bean makhani, since we already had the spinach), and they were mind-blowingly good! Curries were rich, thick, savoury, and had the right amount of spice kick, and paired amazingly well with the starchy, short-grained rice - so great that we had to ask for a second round of rice :D We topped the meal off with 2 cups of chai, which was pretty good too. The cosy restaurant is largely manned by the friendly female owner, so do be patient, as you'll be in for a treat when the food comes by your table :)
the taste of curry is good and also recommended for muslim traveller who want to eat nearby pyeongdae-ri beach. this place so aesthetic and comfy! Food served about +/- 20 min because all curry made after we ordered. The portion is enough to indonesian’s people who have finished walking around the beach~ Also nearby to samdal-ri tree! famous location of k-drama “welcome to samdal-ri”
We found this place by coincidence and decided to check it out because we love Curry and were hungry! It was such a good choice! Very very tasty and cozy ambience. We would be regulars if we lived here :) I can also recommend the Chai!
Very quaint little eatery that only serves vegetarian and vegan curry rice. The food is halal too, so if you're looking for good halal curry, this is your spot. We arrived late in the evening so finding the restaurant at night is a bit of a challenge. Food took a bit of time to serve as it is a one-person operation. We had the half-half curry and mushroom curry. I felt that the half-half was the better option. The lady owner speaks English so this place is good for tourists. Recommend to pay a visit if you want to done at a local spot that is non-touristy.
I LOVED THE CURRY!!! Its Muslim friendly and Vegan Friendly!! Staff was friendly! They only server vegetarian there was no meats or fishes. We get ordered all their curry dishes and all of them tasted good! Would recommend them 10/10 We came with a family of 6. Its best to come and reserve a seat as the place is small. We came without reservation so we had to wait for available seats.
