Came here for New Year’s Eve and was extremely impressed! I haven’t ever been to an Indian restaurant that is also fancy in this way! Service was amazing right from the start and extremely thoughtful by offering the vegetarian feast menu. Food was brought out super quick, and I especially liked that it was on request so that you can order whenever you were ready and it wasn’t forced upon you. Food was all delicious, and ended 2024 feeling absolutely full! What’s even nicer is that the staff offered to top up our curries throughout the night! Although we didn’t need to - this is great if you’re hungry and amazing value for the money. Thanks so much to the amazing team for sacrificing their nights to give us an amazing experience! All of them are genuinely amazing people! Decor is also lovely, including the toilets which were well-kept and felt like a museum with the paintings. Best of all, however, is that you get entry into the fireworks area (while it was a bit of a hassle to get the police to let you in by presenting your booking confirmation and running around - it was definitely worth it). We had a fantastic view of the 9pm fireworks while eating our food which was a unique experience compared to sitting in the crowds below. And best of all - but don’t tell anyone ?, as you’re in the main area you can easily go into the main viewing area and have a fantastic view of the fireworks, the same which people were waiting for from 9pm ?. Highly reccomend, and although I haven’t been here on a regular night I’m sure it’s just as amazing!
Great find in circular quay. Excellent authentic Indian cuisine and friendly and attentive staff. It was busy when we arrived around 6.30pm but we were able to get a table but I would recommend to book to be certain. Food was fantastic , I had one of the house specials ( Goat curry)and my daughter opted for butter chicken which was available in 3 spice levels. Food was very well priced considering the location. Highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere relaxed to enjoy great food
We loved the entrance up the stairs with candles on the steps. Decorated with a lovely Indian vibe. Indian food was some of the best we've had. Everything was fresh, seasoned well, and tasted amazing. The staff was some of the best we have experienced in Sydney. View of the Circular Quay & subway trains going by was unique and enhanced the meal. I thought I lost my wallet while dining and when I returned to look for it the manager was quick to assist me. It had just fallen to the bottom of my bag!
Good place for authetic North Indian cuisine. The food is good and the place is perfectly located closer to circular quay for anyone visiting the Sydney Opera area or Circular Quay for ferries. PS- The service staff should have clean clothes or aprons, the black tshirt was too dirty from the kitchen prep.
