The Kelapa Cafe in Langkawi is a delightful spot that offers a serene ambiance, excellent food, and a memorable dining experience. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the cafe’s laid-back vibe perfectly complements the island’s charm. The food is the star of the show here—each dish is thoughtfully prepared, using fresh ingredients that highlight the best of local and international flavors. We tried their Chicken Sando and the Signature Nasi Lemak, it was delicious and tasted really fresh. However, the service does have room for improvement. While the staff is friendly and welcoming, the waiting time for food can be longer than expected. That said, the quality of the food makes the wait worthwhile, and the peaceful surroundings help ease the impatience. Overall, The Kelapa Cafe is a fantastic choice for those looking to enjoy great food in a tranquil setting. Just be prepared for a leisurely pace, and you’ll have a wonderful time.
Excellent capuccino when served hot. Unfortunately, it was just tepid the first time we were there as they waited for all the food to be ready to serve it. Just asked for our coffee to be served right away once made solved the problem the second time. The breakfast dishes are mostly good. Just the big breakfast plate was not: the croissant was rancid, the huge sausage disappointing to say the least. The place is nice and quiet, hidden from the main road. Overall a good experience.
Review of THE KELAPA CAFE BY TRV LANGKAWI I had a fantastic experience at THE KELAPA CAFE! Everything I tried was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Here's what I ordered: - THE KELAPA BREKKIE PLATTER - CHEESE OMELETTE - TKC Smoothie Bowl For drinks, I tried: - ? ICED SHAKEN YUZU MATCHA - ☕️ MILK CHOCOLATE The food was amazing, with large and satisfying portions. The only thing I didn’t enjoy as much was the Yuzu Matcha — it just wasn’t to my taste, but that's a personal preference. The café itself is beautiful, with a charming location and a cozy, stylish design. It’s a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a hearty meal. Highly recommended!
Great food, even better ambiance. I would strongly recommend coming to this cafe and afterwards walk a few minutes to the beach. The place was nice and ventilated. Food came fast. Drinks were a little bit crazy. The only negative point was that the smoothie bowl was a little bit too liquid for me, but apart from that, everything was amazing. Prices were moderate to high but you pay for the atmosphere, which I repeat, was great. A must visit if you are Langkawi.
