888 Albany Hwy, East Victoria Park WA 6101, Australia
One of my favorite authentic Malaysian restaurants in Perth, with two locations in Canning Vale and Victoria Park. It’s a great spot for all day dining, whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For breakfast, I always go for the kaya butter toast and chicken porridge. Their nasi lemak with ayam masak sambal is also a must try and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends or family. Don’t leave without ordering the Hainanese tea tarik, it’s rich, fragrant, and incredibly satisfying. The restaurant is comfortable, welcoming, and best of all, halal certified, making it an easy choice whenever I’m craving Malaysian food.
When we walked in the atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. It wasn’t very busy but the food was delicious. We ordered and it didn’t take long before the food arrived. Everything looked like the photos but tasted even better! Would definitely come again!
Baked Herbal Chicken was delicious with concentrated herbal infused sauce. Mamak Rojak was very tasty with the sweet nutty sauce combining well with the fried and fresh vegetables. Char Kway had good balance of pan fried smokiness of flavourful rice cakes. Nasi Lemak’s sambal could have been spicier, peanuts were baked not fried, vegetable achar was not the typical Nyona style and the Beef Rendang was nog tender and gravy too watery.
Restaurant reminds me exactly of Oriental Kopi in MY n SG! herbal chicken was delicious Love Chendol as always Rojak was sweet Sea coconut was a new try; nice texture. Will come back in the AM times to try Char Kueh Teow one day
We ordered two quarter chicken sets, which came with soup, soy, and chili—everything was very flavourful and satisfying. The kaya butter toast was tasty too, though the thick slice of butter made the texture a bit odd to chew. Service was friendly, though we waited around 20 minutes for our food. Parking can be tricky, so it’s best to park at Coles nearby. Overall, a good experience, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu.
