Went there early as it opened. 4.30. Staff are very friendly. Menu is pretty straight forward. Talked to locals who were eating there and they told me this is definitely the best place to eat Taliwang chicken. I tried both fried and grilled both good. However if suggest you also try the grilled fish. Awesome. Crisp skin and moist flesh.

The spiciness wasn't as I expected. If you have a moderate tolerance for spiciness, you'll surely enjoy eating here. If you're a spicy food enthusiast, I recommend ordering their spicy chicken, it's a real palate pleaser. What makes this place interesting is that they cook the chicken in various ways, although the size of the chicken is relatively small. Overall, I recommend dining here.

Drive all the way from Sengigi to this place for their Ayam Taliwang and it did not disappoint. The place is not very lit sonits easy to miss or drive past so be on the lookout. Coming to the food, we ordered Ayam Taliwang, Pelicing Kangkung, Chicken Glizzard Satay along with rice and Es Teh. They also give you another sambal with raw egg plant mixed and some curry for free. Ayam Taliwang was the winner. The chicken are fully grown ones but somewhere in between baby chicks and adults. This means the bones are soft enough to chew and flesh absorbs all the flavor. You get one whole chicken in one portion. Pelicing Kangkung was very good but I've had better one in another restaurant. But I would definitely would return for the ayam kaliwang.
