Planning a trip to Morocco this summer and we decided to pop into this beautiful Moroccan spot in Taipei for an introduction of Moroccan cuisine. And wow, I’m SO glad we came! It was an absolute treat! The hummus and homemade chili? Fresh as can be. The beef and plum tagine? A delicious dance of sweet and savory. And let's not forget the Moroccan tea—just what you need to wash it all down. The staff and manager rocked it with their top-notch service, making us feel right at home. My boyfriend and his friend couldn't stop raving about the lamb shank's buttery tenderness, and you absolutely have to save room for the homemade desserts. Trust me, they're a dream! Definitely swinging by again for more. If you’re craving a culinary trip to Morocco without the flight, this is your place.

Tajin Moroccan Cuisine offers a delightful culinary journey to the heart of Morocco. The aromatic spices and tender meats in the tagines are simply divine. The vibrant decor and warm ambience create a perfect setting for a memorable meal. While the service can be a bit slow at times, the delicious food makes up for it. If you're looking for a taste of Morocco and Halal in Taipei, Tajin is definitely worth a visit.

The owner of the restaurant was nice and playful when I entered the restaurant. I ordered a Ourzazate Traditional Lamb Tajin served with Pita bread and made that a set (B) which included a dessert and a beverage by paying more $120. The lamb was fairly tender and juicy. The meaty broth and the potato cutlets were also nicely stewed. In addition, the Pita bread has a nice and soft texture and a great taste. The iced peach tea was sweeter than expected and became the best one I’d ever drunk. The Moroccan nuts ice cream was chocolate flavoured and the nuts were covered with the ice cream on the bottom. In conclusion, amazing experience of trying Moroccan foods for the first time. The service, quality of foods, ornaments and atmosphere were all exceptional even though the price was above average. Overall it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

Easy way for Taiwanese people to approach Moroccan culture and cuisine. Since we are not so easy to get the VISA to Morocco.

My husband and I came in for dinner and we were blown away! Everything was so delicious! We ordered the hummus (AMAZING!), the zitoun (it’s like an olive dip, also super super yummy, we love olives), a bowl of harira soup (it was so light and flavorful at the same time, if you like lentils you’ll love this soup), and we ordered two tajin’s, one lemon chicken and my husband chose the beef and cheese one. I preferred the lemon chicken one, it’s super super good, so much flavor and the chicken leg is huge!!!! We’ll be back! The owner also took our order and he was super nice. The staff are friendly as well and the interior is decorated very tastefully. Loved it? all the plates were empty ? (Pictured is the two tajin, lemon chicken and beef and cheese)
