Nov 2024 SkyCity Marriot's main restaurant outlet We had our guest breakfast there. The spread is a balanced offering of East and West cuisine with dedicated stations catering mostly to business and layover travellers and families. The service staff is efficient and receptive The space is very large and can accomodate a large number of diners.

The coffee shop was on the ground floor where visitors could directly access by free shuttle bus service from the airport express or Tung Chung station. There were many tables, including some with partial separations. The hot and cold dishes area, dessert and fruit area, children area, and drinks area were located in a sequence along a main walkway, allowing guests to line up for what they wanted. One side of the shop was glass walls facing the sea with a close view of the airplane taking off. During the stay, one child dropped the plate, which then broke into pieces. The staff reacted immediately, putting a warning standing board and removing the debris quickly. The manager also asked the patrons for their opinions table by table and shared the most cost-effective way to book the buffet meal. The quality of the food was generally fine. Some were prepared by the chefs in the open kitchen instantly. Two famous brands of ice cream were available. Although the restaurant was far away from the city center, the speed of the subway service could shorten it, plus the spacious feeling was great.

Usually my favorite place in the surrounds for xmas lunch. Never disappointed
