The lobby is large and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathroom has a tub and separate shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Our room had a lovely view of the city. Universal outlets on one side of the bed and desk. Lighting was reasonable. Buffet breakfast was nice with many choices. Service was very good.

I came to Xi'an on short notice to see the Terra Cotta Soldiers, but I left with so much more. I had asked Shangri-La Hotel to help arrange a day tour as my stay was only for two nights. The hotel went above and beyond my expectations with their concierge and arrangements. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making our visit very endearing. Oscar was very helpful in arranging the tours and Julia was quite attentive service for our stay there. I thoroughly enjoyed the classic Shangri-La atmosphere, especially the beautiful birds in the lobby. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was well outfitted with strong water pressure and hot water. I was pleasantly surprised with the turndown soup at the end of the day—it added a nice local touch to a good night's sleep. Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety of local selections. I would highly recommend Shangri-La Hotel Xi'an and would come back again.

It was one of the best hotels in China for me. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food, and king-size bedroom will stay in my heart ❤️
