No. 15號, Leli Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106
A family-run restaurant that offer good Indonesian food. The place is not big so you should reserve in advance if you have a big group. The boss can recommend popular dishes and can accommodate if you want your food less spicy. The Beef Rendang was tender and the chicken juicy but not oily. We had 2 vegetables and both were nice and crunchy. The satays were good with or without the peanut sauce. The fish was average. The prawn crackers were very popular amping kids. The cendol was a coconut milk drink with brown sugar with some other ingredients in it, a must try dessert. The place is fairly small with limited staff, so at times the service can be lacking. In addition, they only accept cash.
Michelin recommended 2021 2022. Authentic Indonesian food with typical Asian taste moderated with oriental ingredients since its in Taipei city. The restaurant always full with their customers at dinner. Means the food here absolutely one of the best. Served halal meats for Muslim travellers. Can accommodate big group up to 30-60 people at one time. The food absolutely nice and recommended.
The food is really nice, especially the rendang. The owner is an old guy, not sure whether is an Indonesian Chinese or local Taiwanese, but served us well. Will recommend this Halal restaurant to Muslim friends travelling to Taipei.
The Best Indonesian restaurant in Taiwan. Very authentic. Run by an Indonesian family. Friendly atmosphere and price. Highly recommended. I’ve tried most dishes and it’s good.
Delicious food, we had the tumeric fish, beef rendeng, lamb stay, and greens. Everything was delicious and savory. Our favorite was the tumeric fish, so fresh and the lemony aftertaste was delightful. Great family run place. Had some Michelin stickers as early as 2024 on their door.
