The food was delicious and the service fairly quick on a Wednesday evening. Highly recommend one of the special dosas as well as the samosa chat. The dosas were huge with a good amount of filling. The cardamom tea is also very nice with just the right amount of sweetness. Everything is well priced for the quantity of food you get - go with a friend and split the snacks for max fun!
Went for breakfast and freshly cooked ragi dosa, cheese dosa, onion rava dosa, vada, Chole bhature and filter coffee and ladoo. Bhature were a let down but being South Indian - everything else was spot on tasty. Filter coffee was too milky so not really for me I guess.
The Mog Champ sends his regards. Saravana Bhavan feels like a gateway to some amazing Indian food and definitely felt that way for lunch yesterday. Came here as a group of 4, the wait was about 15 mins even for a public holiday. We ordered a whole bunch of food like the chat platter which was something I've never tried before yet delicious. I had the dosa platter for myself which would usually be shared but in the end I still finished it amazingly! Strange order of service as the drinks like the watermelon juice and madras coffee was served last after all our food were already out. The floor underneath our table was a bit dirty, as i stepped on some cake. Overall, the food was amazing. Thanks Saravana! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ
We had a very good experience enjoying authentic South Indian food. Vishar and the rest of the team provided excellent service and were very attentive and well-oriented. Suggestion Consider removing hard drinks from the menu. Instead, a diverse selection of fresh fruit juices and ice creams in that section would be a delightful addition and more aligned with the overall ambiance.
My experience was pretty good. I ordered one Paper Roast Dosa and did not expect it to be huge. The dosa was super crisp and I loved the sambar. Will go back soon ? The staff was super polite and friendly too.
