It was truly one of the best meals I've ever had and I can't wait to come back and try more flavors! Tried their honey and ginger flavour. Collected at their roadshow @ Takashimaya. Chicken was soft, tender and flavourful after steaming.. clear instructions was given and uncle also teach u how to create another main dish using the remaining bones.. Must Try! ?

Went down to pick up a chicken after a long day's work. Before this, my impression of kampung chicken is that it is pretty tough. The chicken from salt n bake was firm but not tough, and still tender in mouthfeel. The flavour is on the saltier side so pair it with rice, but I do like my salty food and devoured all but the breast! I made chicken mayo with the chicken breast and seasoned it with the juices from steaming, as well as a few extra spices, great way to enjoy the chicken breast Was told to make good use of the bones too. I made a consommé which was incredibly flavourful. With free range kampung chicken, the higher iron content in the bones really made for a complex tasting consommé, can't wait to use it for a soup! Even the egg whites used to clarify the soup was so full of flavour!

My second time to taste but still not enough cos my guests finished it, haha! Their first time trying and good reviews. The kampong chicken taste fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. Nice and juicy. Still preferred the original chicken though:)
