Excellent meal varied menu, including degustation option. Quality service, friendly and efficient. An enjoyable evening, we had a quiet location upstairs. Quiet music, with vocals, played throughout evening. We requested a quiet space. And we're taken upstairs. Outdoor seating is an option in good weather.

High-end dining in Perth CBD with the warmest of welcomes - A proper foodie’s delight! We ate at the Rusty Fig on Wed 15th Jan. With it being right after Christmas & early in the week, the CBD in general was pretty quiet. However, that did not stop us from receiving the warmest of welcomes from our lovely hostess for the evening (Evie). Although quiet on the night, the Rusty Fig is a beautiful restaurant & we could totally imagine the buzzing vibes that it would hold on a busy weekend evening. Luckily, my husband & myself know how to have a good laugh without a crowd & Evie was also lots of fun & great to chat to whilst always ensuring we were well looked after & catered for at the same time. Before we had even ordered, we were presented with the most delicious canapés & amuses bouches (cheesy Gnocchi & vine tomatoes, as well as the most delicious mushroom velouté). The moment we had finished these we knew we were in for a taste sensation! It was abundantly clear the chef knew how to cook & had a real passion for good food cooked well. To start we had, the pan seared scallops & chicken liver parfait. Both of which were a piece of art on a plate & absolutely delicious. Scallops had great caramelisation & flavour, & the accompanying pea purée (textures) complimented the scallops beautifully. The parfait was a generous serve of rich silky delight, and the orange gel that came with it cut through the richness perfectly & lovely to have a decent amount of brioche too (so many places give you the smallest amounts!). For main course we both opted for the fillet steak, having been on holiday for a month this was the best steak we’ve had all trip! A high-quality piece of meat lovingly cooked to perfection with the most delicious jus & perfect accompaniments. Not forgetting the dauphinois potatoes we had. Bursting with garlic flavour & a cheeky cheesy topping! Absolutely bloody delicious! After so much stunning food, we were bursting at the seams, but there was no way we were passing off dessert in such a great restaurant, so we opted to share their highly recommended sticky date soufflé & caramel sauce. Wow! What a way to end the meal! Deliciously light airy & full of rich molasses flavours, everything a soufflé should be & more! Lovely little touch at the end of the night, was the hand piped anniversary wishes & choccie treat for our 10th wedding anniversary. From start to finish this is the standout meal of our entire holiday. 10/10 on the food & wonderful hosting by Evie. It was also lovely to meet chef Graham at the end of the night to thank him for his delicious creations. Graham has worked all over the world, including London & it’s great to see he has brought his culinary expertise back to Perth to showcase them using quality ingredients in a wonderful setting. Sorry for such a long review here (I hope you’re still reading), but it really is worth every word and we’d 100% recommend a visit to the Rusty Fig! You won’t regret it!

We enjoy the most dishes, and I love the Soufflé. Personally I don’t really like the Dill and the green sauce were in the two dishes. It’s not bad just not my taste. Another thing was the cutleries were terrible and I couldn’t cut the food. Friendly service and good vibes.

One of the best meals I have had in Perth. Graham the owner and chef was very accommodating and provided a spectacular meal. Wines were great as well and we were allowed to stay until late. Highly recommend this restaurant.
