Amazing food, amazing host, clean and peaceful location

One of the best and unique vegan restaurants I have ever been to globally. Fresh, clean, and high quality. They have perhaps a few branches. I went to “Ru pure vegan”, Shanhaiguan Road No.388 Block 2 Bohua Plaza Retail Unit L4-03, Jing'an Shanghai China. More details are available on happycow.

The food was very good and there were lots of choices. I loved the pizza. I think some food could use a bit more spice/punch, but overall great flavours and it all looked amazing. The staff was very kind!

My 2nd time here. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, comfy decor and with a view of the intersection and pedestrians. Staff are friendly especially Steven who recalled I was there a year ago and we had a long good chat. The food here is all vegan. The potato fries are first boiled, then baked, with a sprinkle of spices. They make desserts on the demand too. The capuccino is just right. You order with a tablet and each dish is shown with the ingredients in both Mandarin and English. The food is fairly priced with a lot of thought going into it. They are known for the pizzas. It is walkable from the Starbucks Roastery. The co-owner informed me that they have since closed this branch in Nov 2024 as the lease was up. They have consolidated at the other branch at the top floor of Bohua Plaza (15 mins away) next to a museum. The spread here is even more impressive.

Amazing vegan food... better than what you can get in London! Highly recommend... Menu so varied and every item we ordered was absolutely delicious. It was our last night so unfortunately we couldn't go back and try the rest of the menu. Desserts were amazing as well! Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the food! Pure vegan
