We saw this on a write up and decided to come here. Very authentic malaysian food . The assam pedas heat was just right and more importantly not sweet or oily . There were a good amount of ladies fingers in it. We were able to choose from ikan head or tail. There was a miscommunication and we had bean sprouts served on top of our kailan . The hostess was good natured about it and told us she will take back the bean sprouts . The kailan was nice and had wok hei. The ayam goreng was lean and not oily . Overall an enjoyable meal ! Will come again if in the area
Outof the norm asam pedas with type of fish not sold in SG! Dishes taste like home cooked ones. Quite a treat!
Saw on tiktok and decided to try. Was a bit disappointed with the service. The staff was not attentive. Waited quite a bit for our food, not even drink was served first. Only when we asked then they check, when we saw other table that came later than us was served first. Food was good, ordered asam pedas, taugeh ikan masin, telur dadar, ayam berempeh and tahu goreng. Ayam berempah was good but not fully cooked. So u can still see some redness on it. Nevertheless good food. Not bad??
First time visit here. Read the mixed reviews before heading down to try myself since wife wants to eat asam pedas and try out new place. Surprisingly, service is fast and staffs are very attentive and courtesy. Ordered asam pedas ikan jenahak that cost rm30 which is reasonable( try to go market and buy fish and you will know why I said it's reasonable), sotong kunyit , telur dadar , set of ulam and 3 drinks. Total rm89. The asam pedas is thick and little bit spicy. We love it. The sotong also is very fresh and tender. Overall good and tasty dishes . Can consider to dine again.
