Omg... so much variety of vegetables... they even had moringa curry which I have not seen in indian shops. Now that's unique. Overall it's tasty. Go try. When entering the shop, it's filled with latest tamil song in the air. Now that's another uniqueness. I took tauhu peratal, curry chicken, moringa peratal, ladies finger, rasam, sambar. On top of that, I take away 3 nasi lemak. It cost me RM14. Now that's cheap.
It's perhaps one of the most affordable places to have good food. Better than the usual spread of Indian food - lots of choices, which means it'll likely be a hit even with a newcomer. They've got a good spread of vegetarian dishes but do take note to come early if you want the most choices of vegetarian dishes as it finishes fast though they do their best to replenish some of the dishes. There's even stir-fried diced beetroot with grated coconut, which is not common among eateries these days. For their non-vegetarian spread, they have ample choices from chicken (various cooking styles - varuval, masala, fried chicken, spicy semi dry style too), fish, mutton. On Fridays, they've the Biryani Rice. Usually people go for the Banana leaf style of eating. They also serve Breakfast, have some local kuih-muih both Indian and Malay. Packed nasi-lemak too. They also have Thosai for breakfast and tea time, Appom, Mee and/or Mee Hoon Curry. You see all sorts of people coming to eat here - which shows it's a popular place. Seen Chinese, Indians, Malays, Foreigners and outstation folks as well. Take note: usually closed on Mondays and it doesn't have air conditioning - instead it has Fans and Misters.
Been here lots of times before. There’s variety of dishes for banana leaf during lunch time. The place is always packed with people especially during peak hours. There’s various snacks as well to have it with abc, cendol or any beverages of choice. Price is pretty cheap. It’s fairly hard to get table and parking. Environment is fair, it’s snugged between trees but noisy due to lots of people. Overall, it’s nice and cheap place to eat.
