This restaurant is super popular for their porridge no joke! We ordered a small pork porridge, dried scallop porridge and a medium crabmeat and shark’s fins porridge. The porridge is served hot in claypot. We also ordered claypot beancurd and it’s so delicious. It has sliced vegetables, pork and fish cake too. It goes well with the porridge. This meal costs us only $82. We will definitely return to try out other nice dishes one day. The steamed kampong chicken at Zhou Jia Cun is excellent! The gravy pairs perfectly with rice. The garlic glass lettuce is also delicious, with a well-balanced sauce that isn’t too salty. We also ordered the cai po tofu, which was very flavorful and went great with white rice. Parking is easy to find, and the staff efficiently arranges seating. The dishes are served quickly, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the prices are reasonable, especially for Melaka town, making this one of my favorite zhi char spots in the area. Highly recommended!

Various choice of porridge selection. Porridge taste smooth and nice. Other opinions food available to be try. This shop had been open many years, staffs are friendly. Limited tables as advanced booking or early bird recommended.

The claypot seafood porridge is lovely. We ordered the prawns petai dish which is delicious. Their steamed Jenak fish is fresh and tasty too. Overall, this restaurant has really good choices of Chinese dishes and their staffs are all friendly. Recommended to pay a visit if you're in Melaka the next time.

A real comfort food place - simple porridge with local cuisine. We reached Malacca at abt 9:30 pm and saw this restaurant still doing brisk business. Service was good and food delicious … will come again, for sure.
