Ramkhamhaeng Rd Hua Mak, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok 10240, Thailand
A lot of halal food options available here but need to be careful with non halal foods since they are quite beside each other. The best thing here is the price of food is very affordable and the taste is also good. But some stalls, the food is just cold and old. You can find everything from rice, to drinks to pastries and soupy foods. Various payment methods available here.
Wether you practice halal or not this night market contends with the bigger well-known trendy foreigner-filled other night markets such as jodd fairs etc. but all at an affordable price (mostly all items being under 150B). The cost is indicative of the many schools around the area. Great range of food options as well as electronics, clothing, jewelry, fragrances, bedding etc. This market is only well known to the locals because of harder transportation access but once the new mrt orange train line is open that will change very soon and it will become even more popular and busy! A must visit if you are in bangkok, it's worth the commute!
Affordable night market/street food. Plenty of halal options. Seats available @ the centre of the market, else you could sit at the grassy/stone areas outside the market. No toilets unfortunately - unless you consider rivers your toilet, but hopefully you dont ;D
Visited the night market for the first time on 1st Feb 2025, Awesome & fantastic! The travelling time took us 40 minutes from Bangkok to the place during to traffic during peak hours at 6.30pm. The place is huge for Halal food, lots of lots of varieties to choose from light food to seafood, drinks & fruits! Across the road, another halal food court that provides prayer room & toilets. Lots of street food vendors till late nights. Many available sitting tables & chairs, some locals sat on the grass like picnic eatingbtheor foods. Worth the trip and definitely will come back again
The University Market in Thailand is one of my favorites! It’s not overly crowded, which makes it a relaxing place to explore. You’ll find a wide variety of delicious food, plenty of clothing stalls in cheap prices, and other nearby shops like hair accessories and a nail salon.
